Karneshwar temple is 1600 years old Lord Shiva temple at 4 kms from
Sangameshwar. The statues and carvings of many Hindu Gods can be seen on
the walls of Karneshwar temple.
Karneshwar Shiv Mandir (Temple), Sangameshwar ........ acording to my information this temple built by great "PANDAV'S ....once upon ' there were 365 ancient temples in "KASBA". PANDAV'S has to make 2'nd "KASHIKSHETRA" on the bank of these three rivers ..............> SHASHTRI+ALAKNANDA+VARUNA... at vilage "KASBA". The great "MARATHA" king "SAMBHAJIRAJE" son of "CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ" was traped by "DEVIL" AURANGJEB..at vilage "KASBA".
