The first ever city which was my solo trip destination given the circumstances at that times .where i visited 12 places in 2 days. It was an enriching experience. Visited in the month of Jan 2023
India Gate- This I saw on my Day 1 journey at night. it was closed to enter inside as some republic Day prep was on.
Dehli is famous for its city gates. City rulers constructed 14 gates from the 8th-century to the 20th-century. Out of the 14 gates, just five gates remain. The Lahori Gate faces Lahore in Pakistan. The Delhi Gate is the pathway to earlier cities in the state. The Ajmeri Gate faces Ajmer in Rajasthan The Kashmiri Gate faces north to Kashmir. The Turkman Gate got its religious name from Saint Hazrat Shah Turkman.

Jama Masjid- This massive building, built in the 17th century, lies in the centre of Old Delhi and showcases the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's architectural splendour. Its very crowded and people here talks very rudely.

Tomb of Illutumish- it is in the premises of Qutub Minar - this premises comes under  Archaeological Survey of India so u need ticket to enter

The world's tallest brick minaret is located in Delhi.
The Qutub Minar, the tallest brick building in the world, is located in the Mehrauli locality of South Delhi. The tallest brick minaret in the world, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was built about 1192 and is made of red and buff sandstone. After Prithviraj Chauhan, the last Hindu king, was overthrown, the Muslim dominion over Delhi was celebrated with the construction of Qutub Minar, a victory tower.
